"Location is excellent for walking to the beach and Stanley Park, it’s even a fairly easy walk to the IMAX theatre. Parking is tricky as entrance to parking is at the back of the building not on street front and spots are narrow. We used the restaurant for a dinner, food and service were great but it is a sports bar and it was extremely noisy (we were 2 adults but certainly too loud to have children or older adults as you couldn’t carry on a conversation). Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave which was nice to have when staying a few nights. Though space in room was tight. Our room opened to the busy Davie street and had a balcony so fun to watch the passing traffic but noisy and it also got direct sunlight in the daytime and thus the room heated up like an oven. Air conditioning worked but blows right onto a bed. Over all we enjoyed the location and would rate the facility as “average”."

"We had an unexpected stay at this hotel due to a ferry cancellation, it turned out to be a very positive experience. When we arrived, there was an issue with a double-booked room, which was clearly a system error. However, the front desk staff handled the situation professionally and patiently explained everything to us. They quickly arranged an alternative room for our stay. Although housekeeping had already finished for the day, the hotel went the extra mile by calling staff back to prepare the room for us. We really appreciated the effort and care they showed under the circumstances. Given the situation, we were very satisfied with the service and would definitely consider staying here again."
